ABOUT
Maggie Cappelletti is an American abstract expressionist painter based in Columbus, Ohio and Calgary, Alberta. Her work is a visual diary of her life, inspired by memories, dreams, visions and the raw emotions sparked by love and loss.
Maggie's spirituality and spiritual practice are integral to her work. Maggie combines her psychic and creative gifts to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual world through art and beyond. Her creative process begins by connecting deep within herself. Through meditation and journaling she is able to open all her emotional channels to let her feelings pour out onto the canvas.
Her paintings are a dialogue between her love of heavy mark making and bright, vibrant washes of color. Expertly balanced, these elements work in harmony to express deep emotion through colorful and impactful imagery.

Maggie Cappelletti earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited her visual work and performances internationally in Berlin-Germany, Barga-Italy, Chicago-Illinois and Columbus-Ohio.
“My art is like a faucet. When I feel called it just pours, oftentimes
ferociously. ”
